a cinephile and sharp pen at your service

Paper and web freelancer, co-founder of the magazine Surimpressions, with a furious desire to broaden my horizons around cinema and culture in general.

Cinema is an inexhaustible source of discoveries and unforgettable encounters.

Brussels since 2009 dgraduate of History and cinema, I write regularly about the seventh art since 2016.

During my studies, I relaunched the ULB film club, before setting up an event based on Belgian cinema from scratch in 2017. This was also the year in which I collaborated for the first time with Anima, a collaboration that has never stopped.

Since 2020, I have been writing for several media, and I have the pleasure of being at the helm of the Surimpressions project, a Belgian film magazine unique in French-speaking Belgium.

If we appreciate Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, it will be much more for the depth of its subject than for the spectacle of its climaxes, which are a little too anecdotal. Because between the lines of the meeting, then the confrontation of two civilizations, Wakanda and Talokan, Coogler weaves multiple reflections on revenge. Those of heroines and champions, but also that, underlying history. Layers of narrative that overlap as much in the strokes of humor as in the eloquent speeches of the protagonists. All this in a universe just as rich as that of the previous film, where technology and strength have changed sides.
